This summer we worked with graduates and students from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art towards a more advanced draft of The Disappeared.
Writing development workshops took place in June with RADA graduates. We started off with a reading of the existing script. Over the next days we explored plot, characterisation and the ghost element of the script through improvisation, movement, hot seating, games and discussion. The actors brought the characters instantly to life, contributing their talents and thoughts.
A week later Jenn took the script into a contemporary text class at RADA and the students explored unspoken elements of the characters. New light was shed on several characters and exciting choices arose. Thank you RADA for hosting and to all involved for being brilliant!
